Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a Contract Specialist to support a Federal Agency's Regional Contracting Office in New Orleans, LA. The role requires DoD procurement experience and a secret clearance, with duties spanning policy guidance, data analysis, and contract operations.

The ideal candidate has extensive GS-1102 experience, strong FAR/DFARS knowledge, and excellent communication skills to interact with leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of federal procurement experience in GS-1102 or equivalent.
• Experience with DoD procurement operations.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and DoD acquisition regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide acquisition and contract policy support to contracting personnel and leadership.
• Interpret and apply FAR, DFARS, and DoD procurement policies and directives.
• Conduct fact-finding, research, and analysis to resolve procurement issues and develop corrective action plans.
• Prepare, track, monitor, and analyze contract and procurement data.
• Develop reports and provide recommendations for program reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and consultation on procurement management processes and policy changes.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient contract operations.
• Draft written responses, briefings, and reports for senior government leadership.
• Support process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with procedures.
