Job summary

BOAB Ventures seeks a skilled Business Analyst - Developer to support modernizing enterprise requirements development and resourcing across a DoD environment. The role blends financial management, data analytics, and low-code development to deliver scalable solutions and dashboards that drive senior-level decisions.

The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders daily, translate evolving business needs into actionable specifications, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience translating financial and operational requirements into user stories and system specs.
• Ability to read code or scripting language to support technical discussions.
• Strong knowledge of DoD business processes and ERP/data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead Stakeholder Engagements: facilitate requirements walkthroughs and sessions to define needs and priorities.
• Strategic Advisory Role: translate analytical insights into actionable strategies for enterprise decision-making.
• Financial Management Knowledge: analyze financial reports, budgets, and deviation reporting.
• Digital Transformation & Solution Development: apply AI, RPA, and cloud integration to modernize processes.
• Bridge between business and technical teams: communicate requirements and progress clearly.
• Define system requirements, data models, and validation logic for scalable solutions.
• Design and develop Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
• Develop dashboards and reporting to track funding, budget execution, and KPIs.
• Stakeholder Facilitation: run workshops with DoD stakeholders to reach consensus.
• Governance & Oversight: create SOPs and governance metrics for modernization efforts.
• Enterprise Knowledge Leadership: build knowledge repositories and templates.
