Job summary
Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. seeks a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer to support DoD and national security programs at WPAFB. You will help implement cloud-native and traditional infrastructure, ensure security postures, and contribute to software development, testing, operations, and sustainment.
Strong collaboration with stakeholders across disciplines is essential. The role emphasizes automation, GitOps, IaC, and secure DevSecOps practices to modernize software delivery for government
Qualifications
- 10+ years combined experience in Network, Cloud, Security, Software, DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Experience creating design and standards documentation.
- Experience with AD, IDPs, SSO, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, VLANs, remote access.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain IT processes for DevSecOps, architecture, integration, and software lifecycle.
- Champion Agile and DevSecOps workflows; mentor team members.
- Create documentation for DevSecOps standards and designs.
- Coordinate with vendors on features and architectural needs.
- Design and define system architecture for new/existing systems.
