Job summary

Bristol Industries LLC is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to advise design teams on cybersecurity analysis, design, and cost estimates for Navy MILCON projects and related facilities. The role involves applying DoD risk management concepts and NIST RMF to ensure system integration with project requirements.

The candidate will review schematics, lead stakeholder discussions, and produce written findings while complying with safety policies and project management practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• ABET-accredited degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Engineering Technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to cyber security practices and FRCS design.
• Completion of ABET-accredited program with hands-on design experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, timely and professional cybersecurity system support for planning, design, construction and maintenance of Navy and MILCON facilities.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders and other disciplines to ensure system coordination and integration with project requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of cybersecurity laws and policies (NDAA 2016, NIST RMF, 800-53/82, DoD 8500s).
• Prepare written analyses and present cybersecurity results to teams.
