Job summary

A leading IT service provider is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer responsible for ensuring compliance with DoD and Navy cybersecurity standards. This role includes tasks such as conducting risk assessments, developing RMF documentation, and providing IT Security Incident Response support. Candidates must have a high school diploma and a minimum of seven years of experience in IT, along with DoD 8570 certification. Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a Secret personnel clearance and must be eligible for a TS/SCI.
• Must be DoD 8570 certified at the IAT-III/ IAM-III level.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of hands‑on experience in the IT/Engineering field.
• Must have expert level knowledge of eMASS and experience in the development of Assessment and Authorization plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop RMF accreditation artifact documentation.
• Perform weekly CND vulnerability scans.
• Conduct assessments of cybersecurity control compliance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing task status.
• Provide IT Security Incident Response support services.
