Job summary

Decypher in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to support DoD provider credentialing and privileging for DHA MTFs and ARC units. You will review applications, conduct primary source verifications, sanction and NPDB checks, and maintain provider records in CCQAS.

The role requires an Associates degree, 5 years credentialing, and 3 years DoD CCQAS experience, U.S. citizenship, and strong communication in English. On-site Monday to Friday 7:30-4:30 at the San Antonio office.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required in healthcare credentialing context
• Minimum 5 years of medical credentialing experience, incl. PSV, verification, sanctions, and databank queries
• At least 3 years of credentialing experience with the DoD using CCQAS
• U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Manage C&P credentialing processes per lead senior credentialing specialist
• Perform PSV and credential verifications for DHA MTFs and ARC units
• Update CCQAS records and convert docs to PDF for electronic files
• Communicate with medical offices, licensing bodies, and employers to obtain credentials
