Allied Universal, Merrimack, NH, is seeking a part-time Security Officer to provide reliable, site-specific security services. The role offers flexible hours with anchored shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts for increased earnings.

The position requires compliance with security procedures and a DoD Secret Clearance where applicable. Pay rate is $22.84 per hour, with day-time shifts from 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation and drug screen will be required by law.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and access control practices.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, and support security-related protocols.
• Complete routine logs and shift communications, collaborating with site personnel and leadership.
