Job summary

CAE USA Inc. is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join the Classified Cyber Security Team supporting DoD programs. You will ensure information systems meet cyber security requirements and government directives.

You will integrate with program leadership, coach cyber security professionals, and liaise with government officials to maintain compliance and risk posture across assigned portfolios.

Qualifications

• Active DoD 8570.01-M IAM level II certified credentials (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GSLC).
• Experience managing cybersecurity requirements in collateral or SAP/SCI environments.
• Strong knowledge of security standards, frameworks, and system trust principals.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Classified Cyber Security Program with PM leadership to meet strategic goals.
• Ensure personnel meet USG certification requirements and train to enforce security.
• Provide leadership to Cyber Security professionals on tactical milestones.
• Serve as liaison with government Authorizing Officials for business in area.
• Interpret JSIG and conduct IA requirements, perform risk assessments and RMF.
• Develop system documentation for authorization, security management, and monitoring.
• Coordinate continuous monitoring per DoD requirements and monitor SIEM tools.
• Conduct hardware/software configuration management and investigations.
• Collaborate with engineers and developers to secure solutions.
• Participate in implementing current and future security domains and architectures.
