Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Financial Improvement & Audit Remediation Specialist to support a DoD client, bringing deep experience in financial management, accounting, audit, and internal controls. The role emphasizes audit remediation, process improvement, and clear communication across stakeholders.

Must hold the ability to obtain/maintain a SECRET clearance; 3+ years in audit remediation and related finance areas. Travel up to 25% may be required and a Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD 'SECRET' security clearance; adjudication prior to onboarding preferred.
• Active SECRET or higher clearance preferred; candidates may have current clearance.
• Three (3) years of experience supporting audit remediation and related finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAAP/GAGAS/ICOFR guidance for DoD client and audit remediation support.
• Support audit remediation, sustainment, and financial statement reporting and analysis.
• Assist with ERP-related accounting improvements and DoD financial policies.
