JSL Technologies, Inc. (JSL), a certified Small Disadvantaged Business and Veteran-Owned government contractor, is seeking a candidate for a technical mechanical assignment. The role supports Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme (NSWC PHD) at Naval Weapons Station Seal Beach, CA, with primary responsibility for encanisterization (Encan), decanisterization (Decan), assembly, and disassembly. The technician will provide engineering technical assistance for Standard Missile (SM) and Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Follows established SOPs and work instructions and strives toward continuous improvement.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical assembly experience.
• 3 or more years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Missile assembly or disassembly experience.
• Experience with Ecan/Decan operations.
• Ordnance operations experience.

Security Clearance

Applicants must have an active security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for a DoD‑granted security clearance, including background investigation, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
