Job summary

Ombra in Tampa, FL is seeking a full-time Acquisition Specialist to join a team that partners with government and industry to rapidly develop and field capabilities for the Nation’s Warfighters. In this role you will assist in SOW prep, program cost and risk analysis, market research, price analysis, and preparing reports to support milestones, while ensuring compliance with acquisition policies.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and potential DAWIA certification; security clearance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical field.
DoD work experience preferred.
DAWIA Certification in the Program Management field or ability to attain within 6 months of hire preferred.
Working knowledge of project management/scheduling software such as MS Project.
Experience with task management systems and building executive-level briefings.

Responsibilities

Assist in SOW prep, Performance Work Statement, and related planning documents.
Assist in managing program cost, schedule, performance, and risks per policies; propose mitigations.
Support/conduct portions of market research.
Assist in price and cost analysis to review proposals and establish rates.
Assist in applying government contracting precedents to ensure lawful contracting decisions.
