ASSYST is seeking an experienced Documentum Developer to support, enhance, and optimize our enterprise content management environment. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise with Documentum upgrades, repository restructuring, ACL security design, and advanced Documentum administration. This role requires deep technical knowledge of the Documentum platform and the ability to implement scalable, secure solutions.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Upgrade and maintain Documentum databases, WebTop portals, and the Documentum Administrator (DA) module.
• Develop and execute upgrade methodologies, migration plans, and system validation activities.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and ensure high availability and performance across the Documentum ecosystem.
• Evaluate and optimize Documentum Access Control Lists (ACLs) to ensure compliance, security, and proper user access.
• Implement security best practices and ensure alignment with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
• Lead major reorganizations of Documentum repositories, including cabinets, folders, and document hierarchies.
• Analyze and manage the impact of structural changes on security models, ACLs, and system performance.
• Ensure metadata integrity and content lifecycle policies are maintained during reorganizations.
• Utilize Documentum tools and scripts—such as Documentum Import Manager and related utilities—to reorganize and optimize the Documentum database.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline administrative tasks, migrations, and large‑scale content updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a Documentum Developer or Administrator.
• Strong understanding of Documentum architecture, repository structures, DA, WebTop, and related modules.
• Expertise in Documentum ACLs, security models, and permission frameworks.
• Experience performing Documentum upgrades, migrations, and database support.
• Proficiency with Documentum scripting tools, Import Manager, and automation utilities.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
