Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise is seeking a qualified individual to perform document processing under the supervision of the Document Management and Retention Manager. Responsibilities include scanning, indexing, tagging, and filing records while ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
Applicants must possess an Associate’s Degree and have at least one year of relevant experience, with a preference for those familiar with financial or casino operations. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office and meet gaming license requirements.
Under general direction of the Document Management and Retention Manager, performs timely and accurate document processing activities including scanning, indexing, tagging, filing, disposal, and retrieval of records. Ensure documents are handled in accordance with established workflows, retention schedules and compliance guidelines. Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
Associate’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Information Management, plus one (1) year experience in role involving accounting, finance, operations, auditing, information/document management. Equivalent combination of education and training with two (2) years of related experience may be considered. Preferred experience with financial and/or casino operations. Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age. No felony, theft or stealing convictions. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming licenses from Arizona Department of Gaming and Navajo Nation Regulatory Office.
