JASPER Engines & Transmissions is seeking a Document Control Technician to join the Process Control team in Jasper, Indiana. This position is crucial for maintaining JASPER’s Quality Management System and involves translating work documents from English to Spanish.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in both languages and proficient in Microsoft Word. The role includes modifying QMS documents and assisting departments with work instruction development.

Job Overview

Document Control is critical to maintaining and improving JASPER’s Quality Management System. This associate will join the Process Control team. The mission of the Process Control team is to develop and maintain a documented information system that positively impacts product quality. This associate will support the Process Control team through translating work instructions documents from English to Spanish. Must be fluent speaking and writing in English and Spanish and proficient in Microsoft Word.

What you will do

• Maintain Quality Management System according to ISO 9001 system
• Modify, maintain, and distribute QMS documents
• Assist departments with developing work instructions, supporting information and resolving documentation issues
• Document review/analysis/data entry
• Document Translation (English/Spanish)
• Facilitate the construction and the processing of process changes and temporary deviations
• Ensure up-to-date, accurate documentation on plant floor for training reference
• Improve the Quality Management System
