STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Document Control Specialist to join the team. You will manage internal document control activities, maintain QMS documentation, and support the Quality Director with insights and gap analyses.

This role requires attention to regulatory requirements and proactive process improvements. The ideal candidate has 2-year college or related experience, with responsibility for document control and policy development.

Qualifications

  • Two-year college or university program certificate; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all internal document control activities, including creation, maintenance, revision, and release of all internally owned QMS documents.
  • Maintain internal databases, ensuring accuracy of entries, updating revisions and obsoleting listings as necessary.
  • Provide Quality Director with insight, background, fundamental requirement knowledge, and current system gap issues.
  • Manage Customer and Industry controlled documentation revision levels within QMS.
  • Interprets QMS, customer, and regulatory requirements and determines implementation methods.
  • Develops and revises document control policies and procedures.
  • Conducts impact assessments of document changes and recommends corrective actions.
  • Makes independent decisions regarding document approval workflows, compliance risks, and system improvements.
  • Leads audits of document control processes and drives corrective actions.
  • Serves as the company's subject matter expert on document control compliance requirements.
  • Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Document Control Specialistto join the team. This position is the first point of contact for the quality team in document control administration, maintenance and management. This position utilizes user-friendly, structured tools and processes to help teammates to complete tasks in a PRO-ACTIVE, efficient, and cost-effective manner, as it pertains to internal documentation, as well as all customer and 3rd party related specifications within the STSL Quality Management System (QMS).
