Job summary

Mass General Brigham is offering a Doctoral Research Fellow position (20 hours/week) with the LEAD Lab on a grant-funded project at One Constitution Wharf. The fellow will support recruitment, data collection (EEG, eye-tracking), data processing, and dissemination under supervision.

Requires a master's degree in a health-related field and pursuing a PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences. Onsite work 4 days/week and opportunities to mentor junior trainees are available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a health-related field (e.g., Communication Sciences and Disorders, Cognitive Neuroscience, Child Development, Education or Psychology).
• Prior research experience, preferably with children or clinical populations.
• Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with children, caregivers, clinicians, and research collaborators.
• Demonstrated reliability, responsibility, professionalism, and commitment to high-quality research.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary research team.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and interest in mentoring junior trainees.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and participant screening, including telephone and virtual interviews.
• Data collection involving standardized assessments, EEG, and eye-tracking protocols when applicable.
• Data management, processing, and statistical analysis for dissemination.
• Training and supervision of research assistants; ensure protocol fidelity.
• Regulatory compliance tasks including IRB submissions and amendments.
