Job summary

A tele-optometry provider is seeking a licensed Doctor of Optometry in South Dakota. This role allows you to examine patients remotely using advanced technology while offering flexibility to generate prescriptions for eyeglasses and contact lenses from home. Ideal candidates will have a South Dakota license and experience in tele-optometry is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to examine patients in South Dakota.
• Experience with remote technology in tele-optometry is preferred.
• Multiple state licenses are an advantage.
• Multi-state licensure a plus but SD license is required

Responsibilities

• Examine patients remotely in South Dakota using patented technology.
• Communicate with patients using video conferencing.
• Generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses.
• Coordinate with Ophthalmic Technician support.
• Assist with credentialing and training processes.

LICENSED DOCTOR OF OPTOMETRY - SOUTH DAKOTA LICENSED

Tele-Optometry provides an exciting opportunity! Grant Optometry, P.C., provides a comprehensive eye exam to patients using our patented remote technology. This remote experience supports added flexibility for Optometrists and expanded options for patients to schedule an eye exam.

We are actively seeking South Dakota state licensed Optometrists. Join our Optometrist panel as a primary or supplemental source of income without leaving home.

As a licensed Doctor of Optometry, you work as an Independent Contractor with DigitalOptom.

• Examine patients in the state(s) where you are licensed - no matter where you live - through patented remote technology!
• Communicate with patients verbally and visually with specialized video conference technology.
• With unique Ophthalmic Technician support, analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for Eyeglasses or Contact Lenses all while partnering from a remote location.
• We will help you with any needed credentialing and training.
