As part of our continued growth, we are expanding services in Grants Pass, OR, and seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our dynamic, team-oriented practice.

Position Overview

This position is ideal for a compassionate and skilled optometrist who enjoys providing a mix of medical and routine vision care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. In addition to delivering comprehensive eye care, you will support our ophthalmology team by managing pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing cataract and refractive procedures.

You will play a key role in patient education, diagnostic evaluations, and co-management with our fellowship-trained ophthalmologists, while contributing to the continuity of care and strengthening relationships with referring providers.

Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive medical eye exams and advanced diagnostic testing.
Provide routine vision exams, including glasses and contact lens prescriptions and fittings.
Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
Manage pre- and post-operative care for cataract, glaucoma, and other surgical patients.
Collaborate with ophthalmologists and optometrists in a team-based, MD/OD-integrated care model.
Maintain communication and coordination with referring providers in the community.
Accurately and promptly document all patient interactions in the EMR system.
Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
