What You’ll Do
  • Deliver Whole-Person Primary Care: Examine, diagnose, and treat patients across all life stages—managing acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and routine preventive care.
  • Lead a Team-Based Practice: Partner with and mentor clinical staff, fostering a collaborative, patient-centered medical home environment where every team member is valued.
  • Engage the Community: Participate in preventive health programs (like immunizations and disease detection) and offer health consultations to local community groups.
  • Maintain Excellence & Growth: Stay active in continuing medical education, engage in peer reviews and quality improvement initiatives, and help keep our practice standards high.
  • Collaborate & Consult: Connect with senior physicians for complex cases and refer patients to trusted specialists whenever necessary.
  • Keep Things Running Smoothly: Ensure accurate, timely documentation and billing in our EHR, adhere to security protocols, and take part in on-call rotations shared across our provider team.

  • Certifications: Board certification (or eligibility) in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics, plus current DEA registration.
  • Heart for Community Health: A genuine passion for FQHC operations, health equity, and caring for diverse, underserved populations.
  • Team Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to lead, support, and uplift interdisciplinary care teams.

This role is part of a broader effort to strengthen access to high-quality primary care across Virginia.
