A. Duie Pyle, Inc. in Southington, CT, is seeking a full-time Inbound Dockworker to safely move freight on and off trailers and verify documentation. Prior forklift experience is preferred to support efficient yard operations.

The role includes night shift with a 1:00 AM start, weekly pay, overtime after 40 hours, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Previous experience operating a forklift or other material handling equipment, preferred
• Prior experience in warehousing, freight, and/or logistics preferred
• Ability to safely operate equipment and follow all company and government safety rules and regulations
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively

Responsabilités

• Loading and unloading freight on trailers using appropriate equipment – forklift or electric pallet jack
• Picking, staging, and securing freight inside trailers to insure safe transport
• Utilizing document management system to track and monitor freight shipment locations throughout the terminal
• Communicating with terminal personnel and drivers
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including but not limited to day and night shifts, weekends and or holiday work
• Operating with a customer service first mentality

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a full-time Inbound Dockworker to join our team in Southington, CT. This role is responsible for safely transporting freight on and off trailers, and verifying related documentation via the electronic and manual systems. Prior forklift experience is preferred.

• Earn $24.30 per hour + .70 shift differential. Rate will increase to $29.00 + .70 shift differential hourly rate after 12 months of employment
• Start time & schedule: 1:00 AM; Tuesday to Saturday
