Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties is seeking a Dockhand in Pompano Beach, FL to support marina operations and guest services. You’ll assist forklift operators with launching/hauling boats, secure vessels to docks, and help maintain cleanliness and safety standards around the marina.

The role emphasizes teamwork, outdoor work, strong communication, and a customer‑oriented approach to deliver superior service to vessel patrons and crew.

Dockhand in Pompano Beach, Florida

What you’ll be doing:

• As a Dock Hand, you will assist the forklift operrators in the launching and hauling of boats.


• Operating, washing and securing boats to the docks.


• you will carry out cleaning duties that ensure the Marina meets the established quality standards for all related operations.


• We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about working outdoors.


• Assist the Dock Masters and other Dock Hands in marina-related tasks such as securing boats to docks, connecting and monitoring utility services (power, water and telephone), black water pump out, waste disposal and facility sanitation.


• Provide the highest level of customer and guest services by expediting any and all requests from vessels including transport of patrons and baggage to and from dockside and delivery of provisions and packages.


• Routinely operate motor and water vehicles and other various mechanized equipment.
