Job summary

Goodwill Industries Manasota Inc. in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Dock Worker 1 for full-time salvage operations. You will load and unload freight from trailers, containers and trucks, and accurately record the movement of freight while ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

You report to the Dock Supervisor and collaborate with teammates to keep freight handling efficient and safe. Prior warehouse or dock experience is preferred; forklift certification, scanning equipment, or WMS

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Dock Worker 1 to join our team in the Social Assistance industry. As a Dock Worker 1, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight from trailers, containers, and straight trucks. You will also be responsible for accurately recording the movement of freight and ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be critical in this role. You will report to the Dock Supervisor and work closely with other team members to ensure that all freight is handled efficiently and effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
