Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying shipments.
• Preferred: warehouse, dock, forklift or pallet jack experience.
• Preferred: forklift certification or hazmat training.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment per regulations.
• Operate dock tools and maintain straps, bars, airbags, cardboard and dunnage.
• Load, recoup, rewrap and stack freight as needed.
• Verify shipments by reading labels and securing freight for loading/unloading.
• Follow bill of lading and quality control procedures for timely, cost-efficient shipments.
• Log shortages and damages and report them.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
