Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring for a 1st shift loading dock position. You will hand load and unload windows and doors for outbound loads and internal transfers, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, a safety mindset, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will work with a team, support 5S initiatives, and may occasionally work overtime to meet demand.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• Possess a safety and continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Must adhere to Cornerstone Core Values.
• Actively participate in the safety culture.
• Warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• High accuracy and attention to detail to prevent order errors.
• Good verbal communication with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to read and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Hand load windows and doors onto trailers according to manifest and safety standards.
• Unload and stage windows in correct dock locations according to standards.
• Maintain an unloading/loading rate of 150 cube/hour or more per safety standards.
• Use tugger to pull windows from production lines and place carts in staging lanes; scan for correct lane.
• Support 5S initiatives and maintain orderly work areas.
• Occasionally work overtime as needed.
