Job summary

Kenco Group is a leading logistics provider seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments. The role prepares outgoing shipments, receives deliveries at the dock, and uses warehouse management systems to keep accurate records.

You will manage documents, label and pack items, stage shipments, inspect for damage, and ensure safety compliance in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or two years of equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum six months in a warehouse or distribution environment required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel required.
• Attention to detail and quality required.
• Ability to multitask in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Document management: manage preparation, creation, retrieval, validation and storage of documents.
• Labels, packs and loads items for shipment according to specifications.
• Stage shipments for shipping.
• Accept shipments and prepare docks for receiving.
• Operate stretch wrap/banders and prepare pallets for shipping.
• Unload delivery vehicles and move items to the appropriate area.
• Inspect for damage and discrepancies against freight bills or records.
• Maintain records of all items received and shipped via warehouse systems.
• Check receipts against purchase orders for proper shipment and shortages.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Keep work area clean and follow safety regulations.
• Ensure facility is inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Monitor inventory rules in CGMP environments (FIFO, Lot, Age).
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and other assigned duties.
