Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Dock Coordinator to organize daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations. You will assign tasks, sequence cross-dock shipments in SAP, ensure accuracy, and monitor dock safety while coordinating trailers and pallet staging.

The role requires warehouse experience, SAP/Excel/Word proficiency, and strong communication and analytical skills to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience.
• Prior experience in warehouse or distribution operations required.
• Proficient computer skills, including SAP, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills, analytical thought process and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assigns picking tasks to available resources in the warehouse by coordinating and documenting inbound and outbound activities for daily warehouse operations.
• Evaluates and sequences cross dock shipments in SAP and validates these cross-dock shipments for accuracy and compliance before shipping/receiving.
• Oversees the safety of the dock area and inspects the condition of trailers and tractors. Maintains cleanliness of shared work areas.
• Coordinates trailers to the docks utilizing yard check and communicates with the switcher/hiker and assigns inbound and outbound activities.
• Coordinates staging of built pallets.
• Verifies ASN pallets for accuracy.
• Perform the OOS warehouse walks, maintain the OOS table in POD and communicate to the floor.
• Sequences loads to the teams and/or employees in POD.
• Views/Analyze warehouse stock reports (DSI reports) and the layer opportunity report.
• Accountable for all product, including CO2 tanks, loaded onto each truck before it leaves for delivery to the customer.

Job Summary
