  • Conduct DNA/RNA extraction, Standard and Real-Time PCR, multiplex amplification, and genotyping
  • Analyze DNA test results using statistical methods
  • Provide expert testimony in depositions and courtroom settings
  • Maintain strict adherence to protocols regarding evidence custody and testing procedures
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Medical Technology, Genetics, or a related science
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in molecular biology procedures
  • Comprehensive knowledge of forensic theory, procedures, techniques, and instrumentation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant scientific field
  • 3 years of experience in molecular biology procedures
  • Coursework or training in forensic analysis, statistics, and/or population genetics
