Qualifications

• Must have experience in DME Rehab/Complex Rehab equipment order processing and billing.
• Knowledge of HCPCS codes, modifiers, medical necessity documentation, and authorization requirements.
• Ability to stay organized and manage a high-volume workload.
• Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently.
• Experience with PPOs, Medi-Cal, and Medicare insurances.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to assist customers and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Process orders for rehab mobility equipment efficiently and accurately.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for medical services.
• Review EOBs, follow up on unpaid or denied claims, and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate notes and follow claims through payment.
• Work with PPOs, Medi-Cal, and Medicare to process claims and handle billing issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries related to rehab equipment orders and billing.
• Communicate with therapists, physicians, ATPs, and insurance companies when additional documentation is needed.

We are seeking someone who is knowledgeable, organized, detail-oriented, and experienced with DME Rehab/Complex Rehab Technology billing.

Responsibilities include:

• Process orders for rehab mobility equipment efficiently and accurately.
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for medical services.
• Reviewing EOBs, following up on upaid or denied claims, and resolving any payment discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate notes and following claims through payment.
• Work with various insurance providers, including PPOs, Medi-Cal, and Medicare, to process claims and handle any billing issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to rehab equipment orders and billing.
• Communicating with therapists, physicians, ATPs, and insurance companies when additional documentation is needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have experience in DME Rehab/Complex Rehab equipment order processing and billing.
• Knowledge of HCPCS codes, modifiers, medical necessity documentation, and authorization requirements.
• Ability to stay organized and manage a high-volume workload.
