Job summary

Your Health Organization is seeking a Delivery Medical Associate to transport Durable Medical Equipment to healthcare facilities and patients’ homes within the service area. This full-time role emphasizes safety, timeliness, and excellent customer service as you support our patients in the [LOCATION] area.

You will operate a delivery vehicle, document deliveries, and assist facilities and clients with basic equipment setup.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in medical equipment delivery is a plus.
• Able to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic maintenance tasks for delivery vehicles.
• Able to read and communicate effectively.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must be team player and able to manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport Durable Medical Equipment.
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Load and unload durable medical equipment onto and from the delivery vehicle.
• Ensure that equipment is secured properly to prevent damage during transportation.
• Verify and document the condition of equipment upon delivery.
• Install and set up durable medical equipment at healthcare facilities and patient’s residences.
• Ensure proper functioning and placement of installed equipment.
• Provide basic instructions to clients on the initial use of installed equipment.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to receive delivery schedules and updates.
• Instruct clients on the proper use and care of the delivered medical equipment.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery times, and any equipment-related documentation.
