Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Dallas is seeking a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer to own the end-to-end DLP program, from rule development to event analysis, with a strong automation mindset. You will leverage SOAR capabilities and ServiceNow to automate workflows, streamline case management and automate review activities across Microsoft Purview, Defender, Zscaler, Proofpoint and internal systems.

The role requires collaborating with data owners, legal and compliance to translate regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and tuning DLP controls across enterprise security stacks.
• Strong automation mindset with REST API integration and scripting.
• Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical enforcement rules.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security tooling (Purview, Zscaler, Proofpoint, Defender).
• Proficiency in detection engineering and data discovery techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and tune DLP policies across multiple platforms to maximize true positives.
• Develop custom detection logic and integrations for internal systems.
• Automate case management and review workflows using SOAR and ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with data owners, legal, and compliance to codify requirements.
• Evaluate new DLP tools and participate in proof-of-concept trials.
• Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual review time.
