Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to provide expert automotive parts knowledge and a high level of service to DIY customers in our New York area store.

You will assist customers in person and over the phone, source parts from multiple channels, and support advanced store systems including inventory and POS tools. A valid driver's license and 3–5 years of auto parts experience are required or strongly preferred, with ASE certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience
• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus
• Valid driver’s license
• ASE certification preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist DIY customers in person and by phone
• Achieve personal and store sales goals
• Perform DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs)
• Maintain store appearance and safety standards
• Serve as key holder (opening/closing duties)
• Assist inventory processes (cycle counts, stocking)
