Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry-level Salesperson to support the DIY customer, help the store hit sales goals, and maintain service standards.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, familiarity with store systems, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels. You will provide in-store and phone assistance, perform simple DIY services (battery installations, wiper installs), manage inventory, and keep the area clean and stocked.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic driving and navigation ability; ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively with customers, peers and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
