Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking an entry level Salesperson to support the DIY business and help achieve sales and service objectives. The role requires basic automotive knowledge, store systems familiarity, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers.

Part-time or full-time availability with fleet safety certification preferred. The position emphasizes customer service, inventory control, and operating POS and parts lookup systems to assist DIY customers.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and DIY services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
