Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking an entry‑level Salesperson to support the DIY business and meet sales and service objectives. You will use store systems and basic automotive knowledge to source parts from various channels and manage inventory.

The role can be part time or full time, with fleet safety certification preferred. The position emphasizes delivering excellent DIY customer service, assisting with battery installation and wiper installs, and maintaining store standards while handling

Qualifications

2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
Basic math skills for transactions.
Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
Maintain store product and operational standards.
Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
Store cleanliness and general stocking; Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
