Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Sebastian, FL is hiring a Salesperson to support our DIY customers, drive sales, and provide basic automotive knowledge and part lookup. You will use store systems, maintain inventory, and assist with DIY services when needed.

The role can be part-time or full-time and requires strong customer service, reliable delivery of parts, and the ability to work at varying shifts including weekends. Prior retail sales experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences.
• Basic automotive part knowledge and ability to source from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.
• Ability to use store systems and perform inventory processes.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goals and help store meet sales targets.
• Perform DIY services such as battery installation and wiper installations.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Manage inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Keep store clean and organized; stock shelves and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers when needed.
