Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Salisbury, NC seeks a Salesperson to support our DIY business and hit sales targets. You will assist customers in-store and over the phone, perform small DIY services, manage inventory, and ensure grid standards.

Flexibility for part-time or full-time hours is required, with safety credentials preferred. Key attributes include strong English communication, basic automotive knowledge, and the ability to source parts from multiple channels.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with customers and teammates.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal sales goal and help store achieve its sales goals.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Responsible for inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, Back stock, etc.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
