Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States. This full-time role supports advanced DIY functions with expert store systems knowledge and parts expertise, providing high-quality service to DIY customers both in-store and by phone.

The position emphasizes accurate parts identification, troubleshooting, sourcing from multiple channels, and maintaining inventory and service quality across store operations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license; ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Proven sales ability with experience handling customer transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
