Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver GAS2 sales excellence and expert knowledge of automotive parts to DIY customers in our stores.

The role encompasses service, part identification, and support for advanced DIY projects, with responsibilities including battery work, troubleshooting and high standards of appearance and customer care. Candidate should have strong knowledge of store systems, inventory processes, and sales fundamentals, with ASE certification preferred

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of DIY parts and automotive systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
