Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in the United States who will deliver GAS2 selling excellence to DIY customers both in-store and by phone. The role requires strong knowledge of automotive parts, parts lookup systems, and inventory processes.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of parts experience, be able to locate parts efficiently, and handle DIY services like battery installation and wiper replacements. ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience and proven sales ability.
• Must have a valid driver’s license; ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to locate and stock parts using store systems and inventory processes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock).
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
