Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services with expert store-system knowledge and extensive automotive parts knowledge. You will assist customers in-person and by phone, perform battery and wiper services, and help manage inventory and store operations.

The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, accurate parts sourcing, and reliable POS operation, with the ability to work various shifts and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• Experience with order fulfillment and customer transactions

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties)
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
