Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is hiring a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY customer services and store operations. The role requires strong parts knowledge, parts sourcing from multiple channels, and expert use of store and inventory systems.

You will handle battery work, diagnostics, and customer interactions while maintaining high service standards. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in automotive parts sales, familiarity with ASE-related tasks, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
