Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is hiring a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and automotive parts sales in-store. The role requires expert knowledge of store systems, parts lookup, and inventory processes, with a focus on customer satisfaction and safe operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of parts experience, ASE P2 certification or equivalent, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends. A valid driver's license is preferred and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• ASE P2 certification or equivalent.
• Excellent knowledge of store inventory and parts lookup systems.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends.
• Fluent English; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customers.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installations and tests.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder duties: opening/closing tasks and safety.
• Assist inventory processes: cycle counts, back stock, truck put away.
