Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and parts knowledge in our stores. The role requires strong customer service, parts expertise, and familiarity with store inventory systems.

ASE certification is preferred but not required, and the candidate should be able to work varied shifts, including weekends. Responsibilities include selling, inventory handling, and providing professional DIY services such as battery installation and wiper replacements,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability in fulfilling customer transactions.
• Ability to identify, source, and recommend parts.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, and back stock.
