Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services, parts sourcing, and customer assistance. You will leverage deep automotive knowledge and store systems to identify parts, perform basic diagnostics, and ensure accurate inventory flow for customers and team members.

The role requires 3–5 years in automotive parts, strong sales ability, and a valid driver’s license. ASE certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability and customer service skills.
• ASE P2 certification or equivalent knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read parts catalogs and use inventory systems.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities: task assignment, safety, open/close duties.
• Assist in store inventory processes and general housekeeping.
