Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking an experienced Divisional Resource Development Director to lead major gifts fundraising in the Arkansas/Oklahoma area. You will recruit, train, mentor a team, and cultivate donors including individuals, foundations, government agencies, and corporations to support the mission.

Based in Central Oklahoma, this role requires regular travel across both states, with opportunities to participate in Territorial and National conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, related field
• Five years of progressively responsible fundraising experience
• Proven history establishing and maintaining donor relationships
• Experience leading a fund-raising team and meeting goals

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and mentor a team of fundraising professionals to raise major gifts
• Develop and nurture relationships with individuals, foundations, government agencies and corporations
• Respond to donor inquiries and communicate with Salvation Army employees and leaders
• Oversee training, mentoring and accountability of team members
• Travel regularly across Arkansas/Oklahoma and participate in Territorial/National conferences
