Job summary

ESI Electrical Contractors, Inc. in Ohio seeks an experienced manager to lead a single area group, ensure profitability, and align with Everus 4EVER Strategy. You’ll oversee project teams, monitor budgets, enforce safety, and drive business development.

The role requires a four-year degree in CM/Engineering/Business or equivalent, leadership in field environments, and extensive construction industry experience. Expect travel up to 50% as needed.

• Leadership experience in a field environment.
• Experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Establish group objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate policies.
• Monitor quality and quantity of work performed by the group.
• Ensure safety policies are followed; investigate and report incidents.
• Maintain positive cash position; monitor project budgets and costs.
• Authorize expenditures per policy.
• Supervise and mentor project management staff.
• Directly oversee work activities for all group personnel.
• Develop business opportunities for the group and secure new work.
• Coordinate estimating activities as needed.
• Provide technical assistance or interpretation as required.
• Manage individual projects as needed.
• Prepare complete estimates for selected projects as needed.
• Travel locally or overnight may be required.
• Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Extensive finance, design, construction and management experience required

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all company policies and procedures, including safety, are followed. Investigate, report, and correct any safety-related incidents.
• Maintain a positive cash position for the group. Monitor and analyze project budget and cost activities on a regular basis.
• Authorize and approve expenditures in line with corporate Expenditure Approval and Authority Policy.
• Directly supervise the work of and provide mentoring to the project management staff.
• Manage / oversee work activities for all group personnel.
• Effectively manage business development activities for the group, securing new work on a routine basis.
• Review / coordinate estimating activities for the group, as needed.
• Provide technicalassistanceorinterpretation,whenrequired.
• Manage individualprojects,as needed.
• Prepare complete estimates for selectedprojects,as needed.
• Travel, either local or overnight, may berequired.
• Performsother tasks and specialprojects asassigned.
