Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Internship or co-op experience in operations or manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
• Advanced Excel and other MS Office skills.
• Excellent time management with the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Initiate process and equipment modifications to improve safety, energy use, and profitability.
• Manage capital and expense projects from conception to production with financial justification.
• Develop maintenance and operator training documentation and equipment qualification.
• Collaborate with Division Superintendent on division changes with Engineering and Process Development.
• Handle project management tasks: purchasing materials, installation, budgeting, training, start-up.
• Monitor downtime and recommend improvements.
• Compute material balances when processes change.
• Oversee capital project lifecycle from design to closure.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and cost estimates for improvements.
• Work with operations to troubleshoot process issues.
