Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Division Controller to serve as the primary financial leader for an assigned division, ensuring integrity, compliance, and performance through accurate reporting, forecasting, and strategic analysis.

The role oversees accounting operations, budgets, and partnerships with operations to drive profitability, with strong internal controls and alignment to corporate objectives. ESOP company with extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or senior financial management role.
• Demonstrated success managing accounting operations and partnering with operational leaders in a manufacturing or multi-division environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee division accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, inventory, and cost accounting, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and analyses for accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes; provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with operations to analyze cost drivers, pricing, and production metrics impacting profitability.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with audits and corporate policies.
• Manage financial aspects of capital projects and investment analyses to support division growth.
