Qualifications

MD or DO degree required.
In process of completing a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
Eligibility or in the process of becoming board eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

Responsibilities

Lead the division while ensuring collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics.
Foster teamwork, respect and professionalism among faculty, staff and students.
Provide clinical care through ambulatory clinics and inpatient services, including call schedule participation.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for children and adolescents.
Diagnose and treat blood disorders and cancer in children and adolescents.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
Provide bedside teaching of residents, students and fellows during clinical service and didactic instruction.
Develop scholarly activity and mentor researchers in the division.
