Job summary

The Nicklaus Children's Hospital Heart Institute in Miami, FL seeks a Division Chief of Cardiac Anesthesiology to lead a comprehensive service line across pediatric, congenital, and adult patients with congenital heart disease. Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology or significant experience in congenital cardiac anesthesiology.
• Valid, unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a pediatric, congenital, cardiovascular, or academic anesthesiology program.

Responsibilities

• Lead cardiac anesthesiology services within a premier pediatric and congenital heart program.
• Provide strategic, operational, academic, and clinical leadership for the Cardiac Anesthesiology Division.
• Partner with anesthesiology, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, surgery administration and Heart Institute leadership to advance quality and program growth.
• Shape multidisciplinary cardiovascular care for children, fetuses, and adults with congenital heart disease.
